Forgotten Nation is aimed to help spread awareness of missing and murdered Indigenous women and girls so that people will start to recognize that there is a problem. Forgotten Nation is a guerrilla marketing campaign to help give these missing Indigenous women and girls a voice. By projecting the faces of various Indigenous women and girls to show the shocking statistics surrounding this issue. Forgotten Nation hopes to create an emotional connection with the viewer and turn them into an advocate for the Indigenous community.
Being Indigenous myself I see the struggle that Indigenous women and girls face. I see the problem and little being done about it. Then when I tell people about it they rarely know this is happening. I was inspired to design Forgotten Nation to bring awareness to Indigenous communities.
